Alabaja is a living concept that focuses on Society, Music, Human Nature, Environment and Development, People, Power and the Future, Alabaja represents the depth of the African mind.

Using songs, poems and stage performance, Alabaja strongly believes in the greatness of Africa, the role and contribution for a better future for All generations of world people. His songs and poems are arranged in form of African Traditional Highlife music with underground percussion of talking drums, enriched with horns and string voices. Aimed at capturing the attention of a larger society, mainly matured minds, youth and the elites, Alabaja songs focuses on the society, equity, mother earth and nature, good governance and cultural values.

Are you a listener to radio programmes in Lagos and Ibadan?, then you must have heard some Alabaja songs such as Impact(Ipa) in which he sang that;a life of no impact is a life of no value. The song is an in-depth thought about Life, living and legacy. It is aimed at boosting morale, encouraging people to live for legacy and promoting good governance. EwonRiba (prison of corruption) is a poetry version which has been played severally by most Radio stations. The track abhors corruption in all its ramifications both in the larger society and in public service. Another Track, Teacher eulogizes the role of Teachers in the society.

Alabaja collaborates with others for advocacy. His pre-election track – Ibo de (It’s time for elections) promoted enlightenment and public education on the need to embrace peace,law and order during the 2019 general elections in Nigeria. With the support of Faaji FM 106.5, Ibo de reached millions of Nigerians and contributed to encouraging many people on good conduct to elect our leaders and representatives.

Alabaja’s work is currently being compiled for public presentation. The Alabaja stage shows will comprise of presentations/documentaries, and stage dances.

Born in Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria in the early 60s, Alade Adeleke studied Biological Sciences and later Wildlife Conservation and Natural Resources Management at higher degree level. He was involved in the civil society organization sector for over two decades and as Specialist in a number of bilateral and multilateral development institutions. Alade Adeleke is married blessed with children. Alade Ewi as popularly known in Iwo and among his friends and fans in Lagos affirms the role of music, arts and culture as one of the tools for achieving sustainable development. A silent, but focused Development worker, Adeleke is a member of Board of a number of Non-Governmental Orgnaisations, the Chairman of Alabaja Music and Media Communication, Founder and Leader of the Fieldwalker Development Foundation and Countryside Concern Marketing Concepts.
